Can I feed Duck Feeder to wild ducks at the pond?
Yes. Duck Feeder is designed for pond feeding. Feed responsibly: offer small amounts and don’t leave leftovers on the ground or in the water.
Does it float?
Yes. The pellets float for hours, so ducks can feed at the surface the way they naturally do.
How much should I feed?
Toss a small handful at a time and let the ducks finish it before you toss more. Stop when they lose interest. Don’t overfeed: uneaten feed can affect water quality.
Can geese or swans eat Duck Feeder too?
Yes. Duck Feeder is enjoyed by ducks and other waterfowl like geese and swans.
Is Duck Feeder good for pet ducks?
Yes. Duck Feeder is a great treat for pet ducks, and it’s made with added niacin.
Can young ducks eat it?
Duck Feeder is a small pellet made for ducks, geese and swans. For very young ducklings, check with your hatchery or vet about what to feed first.
Is it only for wild ducks?
No. It’s made for wild and pet ducks, geese and swans. It’s OK for mixed flocks too, but it’s made for waterfowl. One caution from the label: don’t feed it to sheep, because it contains added copper.
Why not feed bread?
Bread is bad for ducks. It fills them up with nothing they need, and what they don’t eat rots in the pond and draws rats. Duck Feeder is floating feed made for ducks, geese and swans.
Will it make a mess?
Because the pellets float, you can see what’s left on the water. Toss a little at a time and stop when the ducks are full, so nothing is left to sink.

Corn, wheat, wheat middlings, oats, soybean meal, and fish meal (plus enhanced niacin).

Our feed is made in the USA, with no fillers and no by-products.
How should I store it?
Zip the bag shut and keep it somewhere cool and dry, away from rodents and insects.
